Non-resident concierge · Relay

Relay business banking, handled for you

The most solid alternative to Mercury. Relay accepts an overseas operating address (no US premises needed), and its 20 sub-accounts suit e-commerce and agencies that budget by bucket. We can apply on your behalf — a free check first to see if Relay fits.

Why non-residents get stuck applying to Relay

The operating address trips people up

A registered agent works only as the company address; the operating address must be a real place of business (a home address is fine, but not a virtual mailbox or PO box). Get it wrong and you're declined.

A long, clunky form

Relay's application is noticeably longer than Mercury's — one inconsistent field can sink it.

Not sure Relay is the right fit

Relay shines at multi-account budgeting, but international wires cost money and there's no API — the wrong pick wastes an attempt.

Stuck after a rejection

A past rejection counts against you; reapplying blindly is risky — you need the reason first, then a new approach.

What we do for you

Pre-check & pick the bank

We assess whether Relay fits you or Mercury is the safer bet — so no attempt is wasted.

Address & documents

We get your operating-address proof, formation docs and business description in line with Relay's current rules.

Apply, correctly

We guide or complete each field with you, avoiding the address and consistency traps.

Recover from a rejection

Rejected before? We diagnose why, adjust the strategy, and help you reapply or switch to a better-fit bank.

We get the documents right and submit to Relay properly.

4

Follow through to approval

If there are follow-ups, we stay with you until the account is live.

FAQ

Can non-US residents open Relay?+

Yes. Relay accepts non-residents for a US LLC / Corp and allows an overseas operating address — it does not require US premises.

Does Relay need a US address?+

The operating address must be a real place of business (a home address, US or overseas, with proof) — not a virtual mailbox or PO box. A registered agent is fine as the company address.

Relay or Mercury?+

Mercury is simpler and more general, with an easier form; Relay is stronger for multi-account budgeting (e-commerce, agencies). The free check helps you decide.

How long does it take?+

Once documents are ready, usually a few business days to a couple of weeks, depending on review — we don't promise an exact time.

What does it cost?+

The eligibility check is free. Pricing depends on your situation (existing company, past rejection, etc.) and is quoted clearly after the check.
